However, these socks surprisingly fail to meet the brand's usual high standards, exhibiting an unrefined appearance and disappointing construction quality, which undermine their elevated cost. While aerodynamic socks are increasingly popular for marginal gains in cycling, Assos refrains from making specific aero claims for these socks, instead focusing on other products. Aero socks generally offer small but noticeable speed improvements, especially at higher speeds.

These socks come at a steep price of £85, with even more expensive alternatives available that often provide better performance justification.
