Elite Cyclists Gear Up for Strade Bianche 2026

The Strade Bianche 2026 men's race is set to captivate cycling enthusiasts with its recently announced comprehensive start list. This year's lineup promises a thrilling spectacle, bringing together a diverse group of elite athletes, including those making their debut on the iconic white gravel roads.

Among the prominent figures slated to compete are Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG), the reigning champion and a dominant force in recent editions. He will be joined by Tom Pidcock (Q36.5 Pro Cycling), last year's runner-up and a previous winner in 2023. Additionally, former champions Wout van Aert (Visma-Lease a Bike, 2020) and Julian Alaphilippe (Tudor Pro Cycling, 2019) are also confirmed, adding to the fierce competition. A new face to watch is 19-year-old Paul Seixas (Decathlon CMA CGM), hailed as a rising star in French cycling, who will be among approximately 60 riders experiencing the Strade Bianche for the first time.

The event, organized by RCS, will feature 25 teams, each comprising seven riders, totaling 175 participants. The youngest competitor is Mattia Stenico (Bardiani CSF 7 Saber), born just two days before Seixas, highlighting the blend of experience and fresh talent in the field. This diverse assembly of athletes ensures a compelling race filled with strategic maneuvers and powerful performances on March 7.
