This concept vehicle, a winner of the 'Highlight of the Show' award, showcases a blend of British design, traditional Italian steel craftsmanship, advanced gravel suspension, and a pioneering fully integrated cable routing system.

The Primitiva builds upon Mason's established Exposure platform, renowned for its suitability for extensive, multi-month adventure touring across diverse and unpredictable terrains. This evolution integrates cutting-edge features like the DT Swiss F 132 One 40mm suspension fork and Barco's distinctive Zero head tube, meticulously engineered for a low stack height and enhanced welding area, accommodating the internal cable routing that marks a first for Mason's steel frames. While the integration of suspension on gravel bikes remains a subject of considerable debate, this design explores potential pathways for increased comfort and functionality in future gravel cycling endeavors. The Primitiva also maintains the practical aspects of an adventure bike, offering mounts for mudguards, various accessory and rack attachment points, and provisions for additional hydration, making it a versatile companion for any journey.

The Ritchey Superlogic Venturemax handlebars, paired with a DT Swiss L1 Drop Bar Remote Lever for fork control, complete this innovative package.
