First introduced in 2023, the Mondraker Dusty carved out a niche as the brand's inaugural gravel bike, echoing its mountain biking heritage with a Mahle hub-drive motor. However, the 2026 model marks a strategic evolution, transforming the Dusty into a more adaptable all-rounder. This change in direction aims to cater to a wider audience, making it equally suitable for daily commutes, urban mobility, extensive multi-day tours, and traditional gravel riding.

Powering the Ride: The TQ HPR60 Motor Integration

At the core of this transformation is the integration of the TQ HPR60 mid-drive motor. This new power unit delivers an impressive 60Nm of torque and up to 350W of power, a substantial upgrade from its predecessor. Complementing this is a 580Wh battery, with an optional 160Wh range extender for extended journeys. For those prioritizing a lighter build, the Dusty S variant offers a 360Wh battery, coupled with a flat handlebar and a dropper post for enhanced agility.

Crafting the Foundation: The Stealth Air Carbon Frame

The Dusty's foundation is built upon Mondraker's proprietary Stealth Air Carbon frame and fork. This isn't merely an off-the-shelf component; it's a meticulously engineered structure designed from the ground up to achieve optimal strength, stiffness, and vertical compliance. Despite these robust characteristics, the design team has diligently reduced unnecessary mass, resulting in a frame weight of just 1,710g for a medium/large size, with the carbon fork adding a mere 490g.

Furthermore, the bike accommodates tires up to 50mm wide and boasts an axle-to-crown measurement that aligns with a 40mm suspension fork when at sag, providing the flexibility to incorporate a suspension fork if desired.

Mondraker, a pioneer in modern mountain bike geometry, has fine-tuned the Dusty's dimensions for its latest iteration. While the original model featured a more extended profile typical of gravel bikes, the 2026 version adopts a more balanced approach. A medium frame now presents a 384mm reach, alongside a 74-degree seat tube angle, a 70-degree head tube angle, and a 433mm chainstay, all contributing to a ride that harmonizes aggressive performance with enhanced comfort. The bike will be available in five sizes, from S to XL, including an M/L option.
