On a recent Sunday, Twin Six, a brand renowned for its cycling gear and frames, officially unveiled a new addition to its Standard Ti bike collection: the Standard Ti 3x2. This cutting-edge titanium 32er bicycle is meticulously crafted to serve a dual purpose, excelling on both mountain trails and gravel paths. Its design ingeniously combines elements from the company's existing mountain and gravel frame lines, offering riders unprecedented versatility.

The frame of the Twin Six Standard Ti 3x2 is constructed from premium T6 Standard 3.25 titanium tubing, ensuring exceptional durability and a lightweight feel. It incorporates advanced 3D-printed titanium UDH-compatible dropouts and a robust chainstay yoke. The distinctive 'wishbone' chainstays contribute to a ride that is both responsive and comfortable. The frames are meticulously produced in China by a long-standing manufacturing partner with whom Twin Six has collaborated for 14 years.

Technical specifications include external cable routing for most components, with internal routing exclusively for the dropper post through the seat tube. The bike features a press-fit bottom bracket, provides generous clearance for 32x2.4-inch tires, and can accommodate up to a 38-tooth chainring. The geometry is optimized for larger wheels, with stack heights ranging from 650mm to 675mm and a substantial 460mm chainstay length, which enhances stability at higher speeds, although it may impact maneuverability in very tight turns.

Twin Six, established in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 2005 by Brent Gale and Ryan Carlson, initially focused on graphic-rich cycling apparel before venturing into bike manufacturing in 2014 with a line of steel framesets.
