Former British road champion Alice Wood (née Barnes) will join the Camsmajaco management this year, taking on the dual role of sports director and mentor for the junior team. Having served as a DS for a few races last year, Wood will now assume greater responsibilities while continuing her television commentary work. Her role involves mentoring three girls and one boy, sharing her extensive knowledge, and serving as an approachable figure for young riders to seek guidance. Wood, who concluded her five-season Women's WorldTour career at the end of 2024, is eager to impart her experience, motivated by the support she received throughout her own successful career.
