Salsa has unveiled a significant refresh for its Beargrease fat bike, integrating contemporary trail bike geometry in response to shifts within the fat biking community. Initially, fat bikes saw a boom in popularity during the early 2010s, though their presence in mainstream mountain biking has since diminished. Despite this, Salsa remains committed to the category, revamping the Beargrease with an eye toward increased versatility and capability.

This latest iteration of the Beargrease marks its first major overhaul in eight years, introducing a notably slacker head tube angle of 65.6 degrees and a steeper 77-degree seat tube angle.
