Cycling manufacturer Cube has initiated an urgent product recall for its Agree C:62 road bicycles from the 2025 and 2026 model years, instructing all owners to immediately discontinue their use. This critical measure comes in response to several instances where the carbon forks of these models were reported to have delaminated and developed cracks. The company has identified that the issue stems from a modification in the resin composition, leading to inadequate resin levels in certain fork areas, which compromises their structural integrity under significant braking forces.

The recall specifically targets numerous versions of the Agree C:62, including the ONE, Pro, Race, SLX, and SLT models across both the 2025 and 2026 lineups. For the 2026 models, the recall applies to all units delivered and retailed before November 30, 2025. Cube has emphasized that continued use of these bikes poses a serious safety risk, as a complete fork failure could result in severe accidents. Therefore, every affected fork must undergo a thorough inspection and, if necessary, be replaced.

To facilitate the recall process, Cube has established a dedicated online portal where customers can verify if their bicycle is impacted by inputting its frame number. Additionally, a serial number located on the fork's steerer tube can be used for identification, though accessing it requires professional assistance to remove the headset. Cube strongly advises that all inspection and replacement procedures be performed by certified Cube dealerships to ensure proper handling and compliance with safety standards.

The company is actively working to produce replacement forks and anticipates that the first batch will become available in early February 2026. Subsequent deliveries are planned at regular intervals until all necessary replacements are completed.
